We are having to lend Wilkinson to the University in order to let Gerrard (Professor of Medicine) go on leave in March.

That brings me to another point. As the

Medical Department has to fill in University gaps

like this, I should be most grateful if you could let us have rather a superior type of recruit who

can undertake academic work when needed and is

well qualified. I am very grateful for Honeywill

who is an F.R.C.S.
